The Kindle Chronicles – Video Review of Kindle 3

by Anesthezea on August 25, 2010

Len Edgerly, who hosts The Kindle Chronicles podcast, prepared this video review of the Kindle 3G + WiFi. In the video he discusses various aspects of the new Kindle, including its size, weight, speed, and screen clarity. He makes side-by-side comparisons with the Kindle 2, as well.

I really like the side-by-side look between the K2 and the K3. I’ve been waiting for someone to post something like this and finally, it happens! I get to see the K3 in action! I’m going to do my happy dance and continue waiting for mine to get here from Amazon.

I popped mine open and found a larger 1750 mAh battery inside. I also tried to measure screen contrast objectively and Kindle 3 indeed has better contrast than any other eReader that I’ve measured – http://blogkindle.com/2010/08/new-kindle-3-review-hands-on/#screen

Thanks for sharing your review! It was rather sad to see the Kindle 3 disassembled in the name of research, but I suppose some sacrifices must be made. :) Thanks again!
